About the Salon
Welcome,
“I use high quality products with high standards so we can leave your worries at the door. We’ll begin with a thorough consultation where we create a plan specifically for you and your needs. Then, all you have to do is relax while I take care of the rest.”
- Britton
How can you tell if we’re the right fit?
- With a focus on keeping your hair healthy, leaning into its natural texture, and creating easy to maintain color I help my clients achieve low maintenance beauty.
- I’m known for customized cuts that grow out well and educating my clients on “five minute hair”.
I can help you gracefully grow out your gray, blend it, or incorporate it into a polished version of your natural color. - I’d love to show off your color with sun-kissed balayage highlights or find “your” shade of red, one that compliments your eyes and skin tone.
- And if you’re fresh off a bad experience, I will gladly and compassionately heal your hair from over processing and perform a color correction and cut.
My resume:
I grew up in Chicago and graduated from a Paul Mitchell school in 2005. I then interned with Mario Tricocci for two years in their cutting specialist program. I’ve worked as a hairstylist in salons, on photo shoots (both commercial and creative), and for runway shows. I’ve worked as a makeup artist and as a professional facialist. I’ve also been studying herbalism for the past 12+ years and will continue adding all-natural services to the menu.
I look forward to meeting you
The inspiration for the name
The Bloomsbury Group was a circle of influential writers, intellectuals, and artists that gathered from the early 1900’s through the 1920’s, some of whom were Virginia Woolf, Vanessa Bell, E.M. Forster, and John Maynard Keynes. They challenged the conventions of their time, embraced innovative ideas in literature, art, aesthetics, and economics, which ultimately left a profound mark on the cultural and social landscape. Their pursuit of individuality and creativity encourages us to think beyond boundaries and celebrate the beauty of collaboration and intellectual exploration. I hope to invoke a similar spirit through the decor, conversation, and designs we create together.
